Close your eyes, sit
upright in a chair and imagine yourself about to enter the place you frequent
the most, with friends or coworkers all around. Now see yourself enter, gliding
on a mist of air, looking down slightly at everyone in the room. Feel graceful
and light and full of warm feelings for all. Now see everyone in the room
looking up at you, smiling and happy to see you. They all want to say hello
and talk to you and all are vying for your attention. Travel about the room
to each person, no hugging or conversation required, unless there is a favorite,
just feel the warmth as you pass by and know that all of them like you and
that all are so very glad to see you.--When your mind starts getting cluttered,
which will not be long at all, quit!.....If you will try this for a few days
you might just see a new relationship with all around you and a better feeling
about yourself. But don't keep it up for more than two weeks at a time, the
subconscious is strong and will kick your feet right out from under you if
you try to progress too fast........Alternate with just reciting a Mantra
of some kind, any word or phrase that feels good to you, this is not religion,
a mantra is only a mental exercise to improve concentration. And remember,
it's the effort that counts, keeping the mind focused can be very difficult,
but the practice may bring dramatic changes into your life!
A Simple
Meditation Exercise
Practiced to bring friends, coworkers and maybe a special someone into a closer
bond. Worked for me, should work for you, but you must sense it and feel it,
and most of all want it!
Put your heart into it!
